Harinder Sandhu

Partner and Head of Project Management

With 20 years of experience in project delivery, I lead project management teams with a practical, people-first approach.

As Head of Project Management, I apply both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to help teams navigate complexity and deliver meaningful outcomes. I value collaboration, clarity, and creating environments where teams can do their best work.

Aside from work, I'm a big football fan, love watching and playing 5 a side (11 a side is no longer an option!)

Working as a Senior Business Development Manager, I engage with organisations looking who are looking to overcome operational challenges. Problem solving is my jam!!

Ultimately, it is my responsibility to identify how our team of experts can make your workday easier and ensure your teams are aligned with business goals. I take great satisfaction seeing these solutions come to life.

Outside of work, family, friends and food are what’s most important to me. I exercise because I eat and drink wine.

Emily Joyce

Partner and Business Development

I’m loud, full of life, and bring plenty of energy into everything I do! I thrive on meeting new people, building real relationships, and delivering good results. Good fit for a Senior Business Development Manager, right?

My career has always been about understanding people, uncovering what they really need, and delivering solutions that make a meaningful impact. I take a consultative approach to finance transformation, making sure the software we implement actually helps organisations achieve their long-term goals.

Outside of work, I’m a foodie, social butterfly, and pug mum. If there’s a live event, a sport match, or a gig happening, I’m there. In the summer, you can usually find me outside with an Aperol spritz in hand.. any time (outside work hours).

I'm not sure, do you usually say HEY! IM MATIN??

I'm Matin. I've been working at SoMax for almost 3 years and have been loving it!

I chose to go into marketing because I had a massive passion for graphic design and social media growth - so a brief chat with Mark and Ian led to a blossoming career!

Outside of work, I absolutely adore rugby. I love watching my local team Clifton Rugby and also do the matchday content for them!

Musical Theatre is a huge passion of mine too, I love watching shows and being part of them!!

Hayley Moore

Executive Assistant

I’m an experienced Executive Assistant known for supporting the senior team and helping to keep the day-to-day running of the business smooth, efficient, and (most days!) well organised.

Outside of work, I’m a passionate home cook who loves discovering new flavours in the kitchen, curating the perfect playlist, and dancing my way through festivals.

Equal parts focused and joy-seeking, I bring energy, humour, and reliability to everything I do.

Alison Barnes

Head of Finance

When I’m not keeping a close eye on the numbers as Head of Finance, you’ll probably find me being happily bossed around by my dogs - who (naturally) believe they run the household and I’m simply here to provide snacks and cuddles on demand.

I’m also a big Pilates fan, and I love that feeling of switching off, stretching out, and pretending I’m effortlessly calm and zen… right up until someone mentions spreadsheets (or the dogs start negotiating for a second walk).

At work, I’m all about keeping things running smoothly, spotting the details others miss, and making finance feel a little less intimidating and a lot more “we’ve got this.” I like to think I’m approachable and practical - the kind of person who’ll happily help you figure something out, usually with a smile and a plan.

Basically: numbers, dogs, Pilates - and a whole lot of good energy in between.

Bev Ericksen

Implementation Consultant

Accountants have a reputation for being boring. When I started this career path 3 decades ago, I decided to be one that wasn’t. The answer (for me) was diversity in industries! So I’ve been a bean counter for places as diverse as the National Railways, doctors, vets, care homes, golf clubs, luxury safari camps and hotels, forex Stock exchange groups, general commerce, supply chains, retail - you name it, been there done that.

Company ownership and management – tick. I even ran an ethnic restaurant (now that was fun)! Initiative is one thing I applaud and something I love applying in my roles – I find that I am constantly learning and evolving!

I am an avid Formula One fan as well (come on Lewis!) and unfortunately found that being an aspiring F1 Driver is frowned upon on our local roads! Apart from that I am an eternal tourist and Staycations are my new go to! Just basically loving and living life – that’s me!
